The engine also benefits from a ride-by-wire electronic throttle system with a revised intake and exhaust mechanism. As per the company, the aim of the new set-up was to introduce increased output and torque at low and mid-range levels.
The engine output is 187.7bhp at 9.700rpm, while the maximum torque of 150Nm was recorded at 7,000rpm. The engine comes paired with a six-speed transmission. The total weight of the motorcycle was measured at 264kg (kerb) while the claimed fuel economy was at 14.9kmpl.
The bike comes equipped with the new Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.) with SDMS-5-007. This enables rider aids such as five driving modes, power mode selector, engine brake control, traction control, bi-directional quick-shift system, and anti-lift control system.
