The new vertically stacked LED tail lamps with components similar to the Carens are the quickest method to recognize the facelifted Seltos from the old model. The LED light strip that connects the lights creates a stunning effect, especially at night. Larger honeycomb grille inserts, maybe new alloy rims, and upgraded LED DRLs are among the other modifications.
The biggest improvement to the SUV’s interior could be a panoramic sunroof, which would make the cabin feel airier. It might also be able to receive the Alcazar’s 10.25-ich digital driver’s display. Aside from that, the SUV’s safety may be enhanced by the adoption of Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS), as its Hyundai platform sibling, the Creta, is expected to receive it as well.
Other features will be kept, including a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, connected car technology, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, ventilated front seats, a Bose sound system, and sound mood lighting. Six airbags, ABS with EBD, front and rear parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, and electronic stability control will ensure passenger safety.
There aren’t expected to be any modifications behind the hood. The Seltos now has three engine options: a 140PS 1.4-litre turbo-petrol, a 115PS 1.5-litre petrol, and a 115PS 1.5-liter diesel. All engines have manual and automatic transmission options, with the 1.5-liter petrol getting a 6-speed clutchless manual as well.

In India, the facelifted Seltos is slated to debut in mid-2022. And once it arrives, it may command a little premium over the current SUV, which starts at Rs 9.95 lakh.
