Mahindra Thar

The new Mahindra Thar generation has been tested many times. The new Thar features a longer and wider body compared to the outgoing model. The new Mahindra Thar, as seen in spied pictures, is going to retain the CJ-5 design with a bigger 7-slot grille and a prominent front bumper. The SUV should be supported by a new chassis which will help the car comply with future safety regulations.

A new 2.0-liter BS-VI-compliant diesel engine is intended to mechanically replace the existing drive trains for the new Thar. The engine and a four-wheel drive train will be connected to a low-range six-speed gearbox. A mechanical lock differential is also likely to occur at the back. Thar also has standard security features in terms of security, such as double airbags, EBD ABS, parking sensors, speed alarm systems and safety belt reminders.

The new Thar has contemporary interiors with an all-new dashboard on its interior. In addition, the SUV will be equipped with a large MID cluster of two-pod instruments, while the aircondition switches and the seating are new.

 Mahindra Thar Price:

Mahindra Thar’s price begins at the price of 10,00 Lakh and goes up to the rate of 14,15 Lakh, respectively. The petrol version of the Thar costs between 10.00 Lakh and 13.95 Lakh, while the diesel version costs between 11.05 Lakh and 14.15 Lakh.

Maruti Suzuki XL6

From the launch of the Omni in 1984 to the release of this SUV, the XL6, in 2019, Maruti Suzuki has always been a force in the people’s carry segment. It is the next step in your line-up and the experience of a six-seat premium model. Four models are available, each with one engine and two drive options.

The MPV features six-seat Premium captain seating, cruise control, smartphone connectivity, automatic headlamps and other features in the middle row. The XL6’s interior is entirely black, with premium stone accents and silver highlights on the dashboard and door pads.

This car is built on the Heartect platform and is equipped with the Nexa Security Shield, including dual front airbags, Electronica Brake Force (EBD) ABS, front seat belts with pre-tensioners and force limits, the ISOFIX, the ESP (Electronic Stavement Program), high-speed alarm, driver and co-driver seat belt reminder and reverse-stability assistance. The ABS is equipped with a standard safety shield.

Six colors of the Maruti SuzukiXL6 are available: premium metal silver, grey metallic magma, red primary auburn, brave Perl chaki, white pearl artic, and blue nexa.

The XL6 comes with BS-VI-consistent Smart Hybrid petrol engines with a torque of 103,5bhp and 138Nm and either a manual of 5 or automatic 4-speed transmission.

In this price range, the XL6 competes with top-tier compact SUVs such as the Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon, and Ford EcoSport. There are also C-segment sedans in this price range, such as Honda City, Maruti Ciaz, and Hyundai Verna. You should also consider the Hyundai Creta, Nissan Kicks, and Kia Seltos entry-level models.

Maruti Suzuki XL6 Price

MG Hector Plus

MG Motor India has extended Hector range from 13.34 lakh to 19.12 lakh with six and seven seats Hector Plus (all prices, ex-showroom, pan India).

The MG Hector Plus is available in 4 versions, Style, Super, Smart, Sharp, Select. Customers can choose between 6 colors, including Candy White, Glaze Red, Starry Black, Burgundy Red, Starry Sky Blue, and Aurora Silver.

The MG Hector Plus features a 360° CC, a chrome-powered grill, six airbags, electric parking brake, smart-swipe-function powered rear-door, slide-and recline second-row captain seats, eight colour ambient lighting, panoramic sunroof, Apple CarPlay, and Android car infotainment, four-way power-adjustable adjustable.

There are three powertrain options available, the MG Hector Plus, including 1.5l turbo-petrol engine, 1.5l turbo-petrol engine, and a 2.0l Diesel engine. The petrol engine will deliver 141bhp and 250Nm of torsion while 168bhp and 350Nm of torque are produced by the diesel engine. The 1.5-liter turbocharging engine is combined with DCT and CVT, while only a six-speed manual unit is available for use in the oil engine and diesel mill.

MG Hector Plus Cost:

The MG Hector Plus price ranges from 13.35 Lakh to 19.43 Lakh. The price of the Petrol version of the Hector Plus ranges from 13.35 Lakh to 19.10 Lakh, the price of the Diesel version of the Hector Plus ranges from 14.66 Lakh to 19.43 Lakh, and the price of the Hybrid (Electric + Petrol) version of the Hector Plus ranges from 14.85 Lakh to 18.05 Lakh.

MG Gloster

The Gloster SUV, the brand’s third product in India, is expected to be launched by MG Motor India. The Gloster is a full-size SUV produced by SAIC Motor’s sub-brand that will compete with the Toyota Fortuner, Mahindra Alturas G4, and Ford Endeavour.

The Gloster is powered in China by a 2.0-liter turbocharged petrol engine with 221bhp and 360Nm of torque. This engine is available with a six-speed manual or automatic transmission.

The China Spec MG Gloster features a 12.3-inch infotainment touchscreen, a panoramic sunroof, a 360-degree camera, 3-zone climate control, and a fully digital eight-inch device console.

Land Rover New Defender

At the 2019 Frankfurt Motor Show, Land Rover revealed the new generation Defender SUV. The model is available in two body styles, with 90 and 110 wheelbases. Later, in February 2020, the model was launched in India, with prices starting at Rs 69.99 lakh (ex-showroom).

The new Land Rover Defender costs between Rs 73.98 lakh and Rs 1.08 crore (ex-showroom). Standard, S, SE, HSE, X-Dynamic S, X-Dynamic SE, H-Dynamic HSE, First Edition, and X are the nine trim levels available.

The 2021 Land Rover Defender powertrain options include an engine of 2.0 litres of petrol and 3.0 litres of petrol. The first can produce a torque of 296 and 400Nm, and the second can produce a torque of 394bhp and 550Nm. A 3.0 litre, torque 296bhp and 650Nm diesel engine is also available. An automatic 8-speed transmission sends power through the AWD system to all four wheels.

Land Rover Defender features square-shaped LED lamps, a panoramic sunroof, LED rear lights, 18-inch five-pole alloy wheels, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto 10-inch TouchPro infotainment systems, 360° camera and cruise control, as well as electronic air suspension, among other features. The brand also offers a variety of personalization options, such as the Explorer Pack, Adventure Pack and the Country Pack.

Mahindra KUV100 NXT

Mahindra has refreshed the KUV100 with the new NXT series. It comes in five versions, two engine options, and eight color schemes, including two dual-tone schemes. Mahindra has loaded the KUV with features and technology to ensure that the update is powerful enough to compete with the segment’s established players.

Exterior

The most noticeable design change is an entirely new face for the NXT. For the overall appearance, it has a vertically stacked construction. The headlamps have been redesigned, and the front bumper has been changed from a traditional to a sportier design to give the car a crossover appearance. The alloy wheels/wheel covers on the NXT have been redesigned, and the tail lamps have been widened and now have silver inserts. The tall design features a high bonnet and a pronounced shoulder line that emphasizes the car’s short length.

Interior

Inside, the KUV100 NXT is now a standard six-seater, but a five-seater SUV is also available in both fuel options. The overall layout of the cabin has not changed, but the top-spec models now include a seven-inch touchscreen infotainment system instead of the 2-DIN unit that was available in the previous model. Mahindra also ditched the multi-dial design for the air-conditioning system in favor of a minimalistic button-style configuration. The four-speaker music system includes Bluetooth and USB connections, as well as steering-wheel-mounted controls.

Engine and gearbox

Together with the mFalcon G80 petrol and the mFalcon D75, the KUV still has one and the same two motors. The 1.2-liter three-cylinder oil engine produces 82bhp and 114Nm, while the 77bhp and 190Nm are produced by the turbo diesel. Both engines have a five-speed gearbox. The G80 engine is a starter micro-hybrid, while the D75 diesel has Eco and Power modes.

With the update finished, Mahindra has announced the provision of AMT models for both gasoline and diesel in the next 5 months. Next year, on the other hand, an electrified KUV will be unveiled. The Delhi Auto Expo 2018 should feature the electric KUV.

Price and Competition

The KUV100 base petrol variant costs Rs 4.39 lakhs, and Rs 5.39 lakhs for base diesel. The Ford Figo, Hyundai Grand i10, Maruti Swift, Nissan Micra, and Maruti Suzuki Ignis compete with the medium-sized hatchbacks.

BMW X7

The X7 is available in two different variants: the xDrive30d Design Pure Excellence Signature (locally produced) and xDrive40i, the flagship BMW Sports Activity Vehicles (SAV) (CBU). A new language of design and a host of luxury and off-road elements is given to the three-row SUVs.

Exterior

The extraordinarily large kidney grille gives it a family-like appearance. The BMW Laser Light technology, on the other hand, gives it an aggressive appearance with blue X-shaped components. Meanwhile, the rear is sleek and sophisticated, with slim LED lights and a two-section split tailgate. The generous use of chrome components adds to the luxury appeal.

Interior

The long doors, large windows, and elongated roofline create an open cabin atmosphere. The vehicle’s seat is elevated for better all-around visibility. Furthermore, the X7 has plenty of legroom, headroom, and space for up to seven passengers. The optional six-seat configuration, which includes two captain-style comfort seats for the second row, improves the rear-seat experience. The van also has automatic air conditioning with five-zone control. The large panorama roof extends throughout the third round, allowing the cabin to have dynamic light.

Engine

A 3.0-liter six-cylinder petrol engine powers the BMW X7 xDrive40i, which produces a torque of about 340bhp and 450Nm from 1500 to 5200rpm. The car accelerates in 6,1 seconds from 0 to 100 km/h. The BMW X7 xDrive30d is powered by a 3.0-liter six-cylinder diesel engine that delivers 265bhp and 620Nm of torque between 1,500 and 2,500rpm. The car accelerates from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in just seven seconds.

The BMW X7 price ranges from 92.99 Lakh to 1.65 Crore. The Diesel version of the X7 costs between 92.99 Lakh and 1.65 Crore, while the Petrol version costs 1.09 Crore.

Mercedes-Benz V-Class

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class, a luxurious multi-purpose SUV, is available in two trim levels: Expression and Exclusive. The Expression variant has a seven-seat layout, while the Exclusive variant has a six-seat layout. Obsidian black metallic, cavansite blue metallic, mountain crystal white metallic and bright silver metallic are the four colour choices for the car.

The Expression trim has an “extra-long wheelbase” of 3,430mm, which is 230mm longer than the Exclusive’s wheelbase of 3,200mm. The Expression extra-long wheelbase has an overall length of 5,370 mm, while the Exclusive has an overall length of 5,140 mm. The Exclusive Line rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, while the Expression rides on 16-inch alloy wheels. A traditional family face is given to the car, with a typical Mercedes grille and headlights on both sides. The Exclusive trim includes the opulent Nappa leather upholstery, made from beige, maroon and black silk, the multifunctional leather steering wheel, ambient lighting, a rear window with parcel shelf, high performance LED headlights, an Active Park Assist 360-degree camera, an adaptable suspension and a table package. The Express Line comprises 16-inch wheels, a suspension package Comfort, black Lugano leather tubing, a reverse camera, and pre-safe support. Both models have a two-zone, rear-controlled automatic air conditioning, a handwritten handpad, and six airbags.

The Mercedes-Benz V-Class is propelled by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder diesel engine. It produces 160bhp and 400Nm of torque when mated to a seven-speed automatic transmission.
