The all-new Suzuki S-Cross has finally been revealed to the rest of the world. The new-generation model was just unveiled in the European market, and it will be available in other regions at a later date. While there is no official confirmation of its arrival in India, it is expected to hit Indian showroom floors before the end of next year.
The new S-Cross loses its crossover-like appearance in favor of a masculine and SUV-like appearance. This is largely due to the revised front fascia, which now features a huge gloss black grille similar to the one found on the XL6 in India. Aside from that, the headlamps are fully LED, and the bumpers receive a new housing for the circular fog lamps as well as a silver skid plate. The hefty squared wheel arches and 17-inch alloy wheels can be found on the flanks of the vehicle.

Black cladding runs the length of the building and across the squarish wheel arches. The alloy wheels are 17 inches in diameter and beautifully fill the wheel arches. The rear aspect of all Suzuki vehicles now on the market appears to be the most distinctive. It has clear-lens tail lamps that are wired together. The rear bumper has also been updated. In comparison to the previous model, the design appears to be more classy and upmarket.
The dashboard is similar to the previous generation on the inside. However, a free-standing 9-inch touchscreen infotainment unit with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay compatibility is now included. Dual-zone climate control, heated front seats, automated braking, rear cross-traffic alert, lane departure warning, 360-degree camera, and adaptive cruise control have all been added to the feature list.
Autonomous emergency braking, traffic-sign recognition, adaptive cruise control, blindspot monitoring, lane keep assist, and other ADAS features are included in the new Suzuki S-Cross. These safety features improve the occupants’ onboard safety.

The 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine, which works in unison with a 48V mild-hybrid system, propels the new S-Cross internationally. It is paired to a six-speed manual and an automatic transmission and produces 127bhp and 235Nm of torque. Suzuki’s Allgrip all-wheel-drive system is standard on the S-Cross, as are four different drive modes: Auto, Snow, Lock, and Sport.
There has been no official confirmation that the new S-Cross will be available in India. Maruti Suzuki, on the other hand, is expected to release a revamped model next year “as read and reported by www.carwale.com”.
