AUTO EXPO 2020 : OLECTRA LAUNCHES C9 45 SEATER ELECTRIC BUS

The all new amazing bus is loaded with some great features like EU standard and FDSS system. In the ongoing Indian auto expo 2020 in Noida the minister of road transport and highways showcases the new olectra-BYD C9 electric inter city bus. Olectra BYD already operates over 200 buses across various states in India.

The C9 electric bus is 12 meter long and will come with a 45 to 49 seater configuration. The C9 is full Ac and designed for long distance travel and offers push back seats for passengers. The C9 is also having the latest TV and infotainment system. The C9 will be having WiFi system and inbuilt USB chargers for each seat. The C9 will also offer 5 cubic meter luggage space for keeping enough luggage of long traveling passengers.

Olectra BYD

The C9 bus has been powered by LFP battery, that can make it run upto 300 km of range in a single charge, with speed of over 100 km. The C9 also offers a maximum torque of 3000 NM.

The Electra Byd has been the electric vehicle in the country which is not only made in India but also made for India. Our ability to introduce new models of electric buses with top passenger comfort and safety will allow us to meet the requirements of newer segments.

The addition of our latest product range the C9 is our first intercity electric bus, we have proven our strong product development abilities. 

LATEST ELECTRIC BUS

The amazing new electric bus is also loaded with various safety features including EU standard FDSS system with TUV certification. Driver fatigue system and ITS system are also equipped as per Indian regulatory requirements. If any crisis occurs the C9 will deal with it by panic alarm system and emergency lighting system in case of accidents. 

The C9 has a defroster fitted in it so the bus enables the driving in foggy conditions. The C9 is manufactured in India by olectra greentech in a strategic tie up with BYD auto company.
