Automobiles prefer to increase their price at the beginning of the calendar year, because of their exchange rate fluctuations and higher input and material costs. The transformation will allow brands to raise sales in the last month of the year.

Kia SUV and MPV prices hikes from January 2021
Kia Motors has told its dealers about its January Seltos and Sonet SUV’s “high-price corrections.” “The anticipated rise is going to be important. On 1 January, the exact scale of the price rise is intimated.” Interestingly, there is no relation to the Carnival MPV’s hiking prices, which were the slowest seller Kia had been until now.
The price is currently Rs 9.89 to Rs 17.34 lakh for the Kia Seltos, while the price ranges Rs 6.71 lakh to Rs 12.89 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).
Hyundai car and SUV prices hikes from January 2021
In the New Year, Hyundai India will also raise the prices of its models. The manufacturer has announced that its whole portfolio will be subject to a price adjustment as supply and material prices escalate. However, only in January 2021 will the price spike be understood. Expect price changes depending on the model, version and type of petrol.

Maruti Suzuki car and SUV hikes prices from January 2021
Mahindra, a home-grown SUV manufacturer, has also announced that next year they will raise their car rates. While the auto manufacturer did not comment on the scale of this hike, it revealed that it would refer to their car portfolios. As reasons for the rise, the carmaker cited higher cost of inputs and product prices.
MG SUV hikes prices from January 2021
MG has recently announced that it will start a new seven-seat Hector Plus at the beginning of next year. The car manufacturer said from 1 January that all of its models currently on sale will raise costs by up to 3 percent. After the completion of the initial pricing span, the car manufacturer raised prices for the Gloster last month.
Honda car and SUV hikes prices from January 2021
Sources from retailers have stated to us that from January 1, 2020, Honda will also revisit prices of its vehicles. However, there is also no information on the rise.
Nissan and Datsun hikes prices from January 2021
By January 2021, Nissan India announced a rise in the prices of Nissan and Datsun cars. The Japanese carmaker announced that they would raise prices by up to 5 per cent to offset increased manufacturing costs. The newly released Nissan Magnite, the original SUV price period is set to expire on 31 December.
Renault car and SUV hikes prices from January 2021
Renault has announced that in the new calendar year prices for its model increase to Rs 28,000. The car producer revealed in a tweet that higher prices for inputs and other costs would justify a price increase.
Ford car and SUV hikes prices from January 2021
Ford India is forecast to increase prices in its car and satellite transport range by up to 3% depending on its nature by January 2021 or Rs 5,000 to Rs 35,000. However, the car maker said that by 2020, the previous price for those customers remains valid, customers will not be affected by their vehicle booking.
BMW, Mini car and SUV hikes prices from January 2021
At the premium end of their automobile market, the India BMW Group has said that prices in their product lines under the BMW and Mini names will increase by as much as 4% in 2021. The supplier said on 4 January the new tariffs will apply “as reported by www.autocarindia.com”.
