Captur Renault is updated has now unveiled the Captur facelift in full after tapping an imminent revelation through a set of images from March. The refreshed model has been developed in Russia for emerging markets and includes a series of cosmetic-mechanical upgrades and additional equipment. Here’s a quick run through all that’s new.

How has the facelift of Renault Captur changed externally?
There is little to distinguish between the old and the new models on the outside. The crossover position is largely unchanged. Chrome adornments now give a sharper look to the front grille, with a new geometric design for the 17-inch Alloy Wheels. A bright blue shade and a silver roof are included in the new paint options.
How is the facelift of the Renault Captur different inside?
The French auto manufacturer has cleaned the cabin design and added a few modern touches. First, a new, three-speed steering wheel with brushed metal accents is available. The 8.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system is one inch bigger than the previous one and the new unit sits flush with the glitter-black central panel, which gives a cleaner look. There is also a range of buttons that lowers the central console just ahead of the gear lever to provide frequently accessed functions. Material quality and Ergonomics were also improved in the cabin, according to the manufacturer.

What new features are on the facelift of the Renault Captur?
New equipment comes with the refreshed model. Renault has added a remote starting function, heated steering wheel, and rear seat, an audio system from Bose, and eye-catching mood lighting. Android Auto and Apple CarPlay are still available for the infotainment systems, while the control wheel is adjustable both for raking and reach. In the top-end trims, an all-around camera system replaces the rearview camera for improved visibility, with the addition of a blind-spot surveillance function.
What are the mechanical changes to the facelift of the Renault Captur?
Most facelift changes lie beneath the skin. Although the previous version was using the M0 platform, the facelift consists of a “Modular SUV Platform of the next generation,” or an M0+ platform, which is already on sale in Russia with the Arkana SUV-Coupe. An electric-mechanical unit is now possible to provide driving convenience through electro-hydraulic steering. The Russian-Specific Captur, which is also combined with a CVT car drive, provides a 1.6-liter petrol engine and a 156hp 1.3-liter turbo gasoline unit. As before, there is also an all-wheel-drive system.

Will it be launched in India with Renault Captur facelift?
Two Captur versions are available worldwide for the uninitiated. The platform on sale is built in Europe using Clio, while it is based on the more economic M0 platform, which is intended for emerging markets such as India, Russia, and Brazil. The model name in Russia is spelled “Kaptur,” because in Cyrillic the letter “C” is pronounced “S.”
It is anticipated that Renault will upgrade Captur in India with small cosmetic tweaks, which most likely will match the new model in Russia. However, the crossover between India and India continues onto the M0 platform as these bases are already shared with other products from Renault-Nissan such as Kicks and Duster.
With the BS6 standards starting, the Captur had to forgo the 1.5-liter K9K diesel engine for our market. The 1.5-liter petrol engine, however, will be updated to BS6 standards and the 1,3-liter turbo-petrol and CVT combination introduced. As before, the all-wheel-drive will not be available.
