But Mahindra has now sent a release saying that the new car is XUV700. It is expected that the Mahindra XUV700 will be larger than the XUV500, but whether the vehicle is to be replaced is not clear. The car is going to be a three-row car and Mahindra says the launch will take place in Q2 FY22. According to Mahindra, the protection of this vehicle will also be world-class. Because of its latest attempt at Global NCAP and the stellar crash protection scores, the XUV700 should also be a secure car.
The much-anticipated W601 SUV has been renamed the Mahindra XUV700 and will most likely be released in India in the second quarter of FY2022. The Indian automaker has announced that will be offered with petrol, diesel engines, as well as MT and AT options for each vehicle. In addition, AWD would most likely be offered as an optional extra for select models. This is likely to be Mahindra’s next flagship SUV in its lineup, and it is expected to arrive in a similar process to the current XUV500.
The vehicle has already been seen experimenting in various stages of camouflage, the most recent of which showed an evolutionary nature when compared to the XUV500. It will most likely be manufactured at the Mahindra plant in Chakan, Maharashtra, near Pune.
Veejay Nakra, CEO of Automotive Division, M&M commenting on the title revealed: “The XUV700, one of Mahindra’s most anticipated offerings, will surely be a customer-sweet place. The XUV700 was created on the latest W601 platform and is the beginning of an advanced and authentic Mahindra SUV of the next generation which will deliver an adrenalin rush like never before.
