Maruti Suzuki has added the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Xtra Edition to the Wagon R lineup. On the mid-spec VXi variant, the Xtra Edition adds a number of accessories that would otherwise have to be purchased separately.
- The Wagon R Xtra is priced at Rs 22,990 more than the VXi 1-litre MT and the VXi 1.2-litre MT, respectively.
- It comes with exterior and interior accessories, including front and rear bumper protectors, fog lamp garnish, and a boot organizer.
- Maruti offers the Wagon R Xtra with the same 1-liter and 1.2-liter engines, albeit with a 5-speed manual transmission.
Since the Wagon R Xtra is based on the mid-spec VXi trim, it should also receive the same equipment list. There is a 2-speaker sound system and keyless entry on the Maruti Wagon R VXi. It comes with a driver-side airbag (a passenger airbag is an option), ABS with electronic brake distribution (EBD), and rear parking sensors.

Wagon R Xtra Edition by Maruti Suzuki: New Features
A variety of exterior and interior accessories are included in the Xtra Edition, which is only available through dealerships. Wheel arch cladding, front and rear bumper protectors, bodyside moldings, and side skirts are among the cosmetic additions. Additionally, the front grille, fog lamps, the number plate, and the rear door can be adorned with chrome accents, as well. An interior styling kit is also included. Fuel Efficiency of the Maruti Suzuki Wagon R Xtra Edition engine
In addition to the automatic versions of both Wagon R engine options, the Wagon R Xtra Edition is also available in a manual version. Engine power is 68PS and 90Nm for the K10B 1.0-litre motor, respectively. From the Baleno comes the 1.2-liter petrol engine. 83PS and 113Nm are the results. An AMT or five-speed manual transmission is available with both engines. In tests conducted by the ARAI, the 1.0 and 1.2-liter engines returned fuel consumption figures of 22.5 and 21.5 kilometers per gallon, respectively.
Wagon R Xtra Edition by Maruti Suzuki: Price and Rivals
A Rs 22,900 premium is added to the standard Wagon R to cover the cost of the special edition accessories, which would have cost Rs 33,000 if added separately.
