The auto industry has gone through a major transformation phase worldwide, with multidimensional changes taking place in the automotive industry with 5 electric vehicles to launch in 2021.. The introduction of electric vehicles following the increasing imposition of strict emission standards and global warming is certainly one of these changes.
During the next few decades, several countries are moving to fix deadlines for the full adoption of electric mobility. Car manufacturers are also successful in meeting the deadlines and in seizing a section of the EV market. Not only do car manufacturers work on new electric vehicles but batteries improve, and recharge the infrastructure is readily available.
Between 2017 and 2018 global sales of electric vehicles rose by 65%, clocking 2.1 million EVs. The sales figures were also steady in 2019, despite the global economic crisis.
The result, however, was a 25 percent decreased sales of electric vehicles during the first quarter of 2020 with the outbreak of a deadly coronavirus pandemic and associated locks all over the world. Despite multiple headwinds, however, global demand for electric vehicles is on the increase, with sales forecast to increase in the coming years.
The BNEF study states that electric cars are expected to contribute at least 10% of global passenger vehicle sales by 2025 to 28% by 2030 and 58% by 2040. Several electric vehicles will be launched in the world’s automotive industry in 2021. Five of them are here.

MG Cyberster
The MG Cyberster is the first-ever pure super electric sports car with a gaming cockpit in the world and has been revealed by British auto company MG Motors. It is predicted that the MG Cyberster will soon be produced in mass.

2021 Tesla Model 3
Tesla Model 3 is certainly the best-selling model for the American electric car manufacturer and the principal sales generator. The producer of the long-awaited updated version of Model 3 has now been finally presented by EV.
This year, the updated Tesla Model 3 will be launched, and interestingly, with this model, it will enter the Indian market. The car is equipped with many updates, both inside and outside the cabin. The interior receives updated touchscreen infotainment, a new, sound system, a tint-glass roof, four USB-C ports, and a wireless phone charge. In addition, the system is equipped with a 12-way, heated front-end seat, fake leather seats, power fold-down, and auto-dimming mirrors.
Audi e-Tron
Two models are ready in a few months to enter the Indian market: The Audi e-Tron and the Audi e-Tron Sportback. The Audi e-tron is the first all-electric model of the brand in India. The car is expected to arrive in the country via the CBU route, at 1.40 crore.
The Audi e-Tron is powered by two-axle electric motors. The all-wheel-drive system Audi Quattro is provided as a standard. The German car manufacturer claims that the Audi e-Tron can do 0-100 km/h in 6.6 seconds. The e-Tron can run a single charge for a distance of 400 km.
Volvo XC40 Recharge
Volvo has introduced the XC40 SUV with a diesel engine on the Indian market. The company decided, however, to shelve the diesel engines and to implement the petrol engine. Now, the car manufacturer is preparing to introduce the XC40’s third avatar in Indian.
The electric SUV is ready to hit the Indian showrooms this year, known as the Volvo XC40. This is a new one. The Volvo XC40 reloads power from a 402-hp drive which enables the car to run in 4.9 seconds from 0-100 kph. The electric SUV has a single load of approximately 418 km.

Mercedes EQS
Mercedes-Benz EQS is the car manufacturer’s electric banner sedan. The EQS was recently disclosed. The Electric Car S-Class features a smooth, attractive design, and a variety of special features.
