Indian politicians used the Hindustan Motors’ Ambassador Sedan as their official car for several years before the automaker eventually stopped producing. These days, politicians opt for a lot more modern and show sedans and SUVs fitted. In the wake of the current economic crisis our country is currently facing due to the ongoing pandemic situation, PM Modi recently announced the program ‘Atmanirbhar Bharat,’ which calls for the promotion of the use of more and more locally manufactured goods, rather than for imported ones. In the same spirit, we have here a render of the next-gen electric ambassador sedan that will fit our politicians perfectly.

Electric Vehicle web-sites have shared the designs and the renders. The render was created by the artist Vishal Verma. The Embassy in the Imagination of the Artist is strongly inspired by the original version. It has a hint of old design, but with a host of modern features. The main difference, however, is that it is produced as an electrical version.
The Indian government is now encouraging increasing numbers of producers to enter the space for electric cars and is giving advantages to people who buy electric vehicles. If they themselves choose to use an electric car, they can set an example for people. This car can even be fortified and used by our country’s President or Premier.
With LED headlmaps and tail lights, the style is simple on the outside. Within this version, an Ambassador’s conventional doors are replaced by a set of suicide doors. His version of Ambassador is tech laden, according to the artist, and the doors have no handle bars, and can be opened with a mobile application or fingerprint.

The new gene electric Ambassador’s interiors are also really plush. It gets a spacious cabin with all the features of the modern day such as multiple touchscreens, digital instrument cluster etc. The car also has rear-ventilated captain seats, and will also have massage features. The Ambassador EV will be powered by four hub motors, according to the artist, and will allow fast charging and normal charging. The design looks fantastic and futuristic, and is completely a product of the imagination of the artist.
Currently French carmaker Peugeot has purchased the Ambassador nameplate and there is a chance that the company will bring the Ambassador back to India in a new avatar.
