The SF5 sports a smooth and proper crossover look, not too far from convention, when it comes to design. It has sweptback headlights, a mesh grille that is neatly integrated into the bumper, and a set of distinctive LED DRLs upfront. You can see nice body lines, flush door handles and a roofline tapering from the side. The slim LED rear lights are dominated by an all-width light strip connected.
The SF5 comes in size with a length of 4,700mm, a width of 1,930mm, and a height of 1,615mm. This is approximately the same size bracket as the Tiguan Allspace Volkswagen and the Kodiaq Skoda.
Huawei SERES SF5: interior and features
The dashboard is designed in a minimalist way with massive portrait-based touch screen infotainment (remembering Tesla’s screens) at the center. The interior of the SF5 also has wooden inserts, metallic accents, and leather polish to give it a sophisticated look.
The SF5 also features a digital instruments cluster, a sunroof, ambient lighting, heated and ventilated seating, a seat massager and, to name just a few, an 11-speaker audio system. The SF5 has also been equipped by Huawei SERES with automated L2+ driving equipment including functionality such as adaptive cruise control, low-speed traffic support, forward collision alert, emergency automaton braking, and lane-core center, and more.
Huawei SERES SF5: powertrain
The Huawei SERES SF5’s battery pack is powered by a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder petrol engine. The battery then powers the top-spec model’s two electric motors, which produce a combined 551hp and 820Nm. In this configuration, the SF5 can sprint from 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in 4.68 seconds.
According to the New European Driving Cycle Test, the SF5 can travel for 180km on electric power alone and over 1000km with the petrol engine.
