Hyundai Verna

The new Verna will soon have its covers removed by Hyundai India. The manufacturer has already provided a number of teasers, revealing intriguing features about the 2023 iteration, which will be introduced in India on March 21. Here, we outline our current understanding of the upgraded sedan.

The outline of the three boxes is now a box and triangle. While my creative side may be making this claim, most sedans now embrace coupe-like design cues, so I am probably not entirely off base. This strategy is also used in the next new Hyundai Verna, which will go on sale in one month. The 2023 Hyundai Verna will seem daring, according to the design concepts for the future sedan, which are already available. Hyundai Verna interior 2023

Hyundai Verna Design for 2023

Take a look at the concept art and use your intuition to describe how the new Verna will appear. Although we are aware that the design will arouse strong feelings, it takes skill to follow such an aesthetic on a mass-market automobile where sharpness and futuristic appeal remain paramount. The impending 2023 Hyundai Verna, with its split headlight design, substantial LED light bar, and long, low-slung hood, is visually striking. The car appears lengthy, and the roofline curves down to the boot lid, which has another lightbar and extremely pointed taillamps. Alloy wheels with two colors feature a complicated pattern.

The Verna will receive a comprehensive redesign in 2023 as part of a generational refresh. According to the teasers that have been made public, the Verna will adhere to the brand’s “Sensuous Sportiness” design philosophy and feature a huge single-piece front grille as well as split headlamps for the first time. A new alloy wheel design and a full-width light stripe that spans the space between the split tail lamp clusters will dominate the rear profile.

Several distinctive stylistic cues distinguish the new Hyundai Verna for India (codename: BN7i) from its replacement model. A full LED light strip that extends from edge to edge is equipped with split headlamps up front. Similar elements to the Tucson’s grille almost completely span the width of the automobile. The bumper’s edges have an arrowhead-like pattern with extensions that are vertically positioned, which adds to the car’s eye-catching appeal.

A small crease can be seen on each side of the flat bonnet. Strong character lines are added to the doors, which seamlessly match the flared wheel arches at the back to give the car a strong aspect. In profile, the new fastback-like rear quarter design and the chrome trim that highlights the glasshouse are what really stand out. The wheel arches are well-filled with stylish diamond-cut alloy wheels. On the production model, it will most likely be diminished.

The bad news is that Hyundai hasn’t yet shown off the interior. We do know, however, that the impending 2023 Hyundai Verna will be equipped with a number of market-first features. There will be additional features on the list, such as a larger 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, an all-digital instrument cluster, ventilated front seats, ADAS, adaptive cruise control, and others. The interior and external themes will be cohesive using the parametric design language for the layout. Along with having more inside rooms, the Verna will also include an electric sunroof.

The Verna will be 4,535mm in length measured, with a wheelbase that is 70mm longer at 2,670mm.

There will be EX, S, SX, and SX (O) variations of the Verna available. The amenities included in the current model, such as the motorized sunroof, leatherette upholstery, and rear sunshade, are anticipated to be maintained.

Hyundai Verna Engine & Transmission 2023

The new 1.5-liter direct injection turbo-petrol engine, which will produce 160hp and be paired to either a 6-speed manual or a 7-speed DCT automated transmission, will be the major addition to the next-generation Verna’s powertrain lineup. It will also serve as a replacement for the current 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine for the majority of Hyundai-Kia models sold in India, including the Creta, Seltos, and Carens.

The 1.5-liter, 115-horsepower gasoline engine from the outgoing Verna will serve as the other power plant. This will be connected to either a CVT or a 6-speed manual transmission. RDE and E20 (20 percent ethanol blend) compliance will apply to both engines.

The midsize sedan segment will now only offer petrol engines as Verna’s competitors do not also provide a diesel engine. However, the next-generation Verna will not be offered a diesel engine.
