The Defender 90 and 110 SUVs were unveiled earlier this year by Jaguar Land Rover launched in India. The automaker has now announced officially the Defender SUV 90 and 110 models with a V8 engine.
Jaguar Land Rover has introduced the country’s quickest and most powerful Defender SUV in its lineup, after unveiling the new Defender SUV in 90 as well as 110 models earlier this year. At the beginning price of 1.82 crores, the business introduced the model V8 for both variations.

The Defender, SUV powered by V8 engines, has lately been officially advertised by Jaguar Land Rover on their website. In both the regular and Carpathian versions of the SUV, the Defender with a V8 engine has been introduced.
The same model was presented by the automobile manufacturer in February this year on the world markets. The new Defender is available in 90 (3-door) and 110 (5-door) models and is the V8 version that is in addition to the new Defender.

The Defender is characterised by its design with a V8 engine from the other variants. The Carpathian edition is coloured exclusively by a black cap, a roof and a tailgate dubbed Carpathian Gray. It has a protective satin film as well. The front logo V8 also has four rear pipes and 22-inch alloy wheels, 15-inch discs and blue callipers at the bottom of the front door.
The Defender V8 is famous for its twin tailpipes, Ebony Windsor black leather and Alcantara wrapped wheels. A new 11.4-inch curved centre touchscreen is available in the cabin.

The SUV is powered by the Jaguar Land Rover Group’s most powerful 5.0-litre V8 engine. It produces a capacity of 525 hps and a maximum torque of 625 Nm. The SUV motor is coupled to an 8-speed automatic gearbox and is also the quickest in the family Defender. With a maximum speed of 240 kmph, the Defender 90 is able to sprint from zero to 100 kmph in 5.2 seconds.
Previously, with three power plant configurations, Jaguar Land Rover had laid the Defender 90. These include 2.0-litre petrol with a torque of 296 hp of power of 400 Nm, 3.0-litre petrol that provides a 394 hp maximum power with a torque of 550 Nm as well as a 3.0-litre diesel unit of 296 horsepower and a 650 Nm torque “as read and reported by auto.hindustantimes.com”.
