- In 2022, a new Kia Seltos facelift could be released.
- On the outside, the model has received a makeover.
Kia is working on a facelift for its popular mid-size SUV, the Seltos, according to previous spy pictures that have surfaced online. A new batch of photos shows the upgraded model’s alloy wheel style.
For a long time, the Kia Seltos has been one of the company’s best-selling SUVs in India. The Kia Seltos facelift has been spotted for the first time in South Korea, ahead of its expected debut in 2022. Despite being extensively camouflaged, the test mule still shows few details.

As you can see, the test mule is extensively hidden, so it’s too early to predict what will be updated. Nonetheless, the alterations will be restricted to front and rear cosmetic changes. As can be seen, the Kia Seltos’ overall silhouette and proportions will remain unchanged. When it first went on sale in June 2019, the Kia Seltos received critical acclaim for having the most aesthetically beautiful and balanced design, and it still appears pretty modern, so no major design changes are required.
Similarly, the interior of the car appears to be fairly fresh and luxurious for its segment, and we don’t foresee any substantial layout changes. However, the Korean company may consider introducing a few features in addition to software updates.
The Seltos facelift s set to include a revamped fascia with a new grille, as well as adjusted headlights and upgraded, LED DRL signatures, as seen in the photos. The car is expected to borrow certain design elements from the newly debuted Carens MPV in India. For further freshness, the vehicle is slated to have a new bumper design. The vehicle’s side design will remain virtually unchanged, but it may receive a new set of alloy wheels. The redesigned model is expected to receive Star Map LED taillights, similar to the Carens, as well as a revised bumper “as read and reported by www.carwale.com”.

The interior of the facelifted Kia Seltos is currently unclear, though it could come with a new set of amenities and upholstery to keep things fresh. A 360-degree camera, an electric sunroof, a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system, and other innovations are included in the current model.
The 2018 Kia Seltos facelift is expected to keep the same engine lineup, which includes a 1.5-liter NA petrol engine, a 1.5-liter diesel engine, and a 1.4-liter turbo-petrol engine. The same six-speed manual and automatic transmission units, as well as CVT and DCT units on certain models, are anticipated to be available. More information could be released soon. Stay tuned for further information.
