This month, Maruti Nexa dealers are providing discounts of up to Rs 20,000 on the Baleno. Delta and Zeta manual versions receive both a cash discount and an exchange offer of Rs 10,000, while all other variants receive simply the exchange offer. The CNG models of the Baleno offer no advantages.

The Baleno is powered by a 90hp, 1.2-liter petrol engine mated to a 5-speed manual or 5-speed AMT transmission. This engine has a CNG output of 77.5hp. The Baleno competes with premium hatchbacks such as the Tata Altroz, Hyundai i20, and Toyota Glanza. The Baleno now costs between Rs. 6.61 lakh to Rs. 9.88 lakh.
