Recently New Hyundai Alcazar 7 Seats premium had confirmed that it was actually going to call its compact SUV Creta Alcazar the seven-seat version. Test mules of the upcoming SUV have been spotted testing on the roads in multiple instances. Based on recent observations, KD Design AG has digitally visualized the upcoming Alcazar in its final production-specific model.
Because this is a three-row derivative of the Creta five-seater, many design elements are expected to be borrowed, particularly at its front end. In his rendering, the designer has taken a similar approach. Alcalázar has been designed by main elements on Creta’s front, although it has some distinct elements to distinguish it from the previous.

In contrast to the horizontal multi-gate grille in Creta, for example, a new mesh-like front grille is provided. Although its interior is all black, the grille is decorated with Chrome elements. The silhouette remains boxy, even though the roofline is ever so slightly sloping backward. Also, compared to Creta, Alcazar will be much longer with a longer wheelbase and extended rear overhang to provide the third-row occupant with more space in the cabin.
The rear end of the digitally imagined Alcazar is entirely different from the 5-seater design with a revised LED taillight cluster and is similar to the design offered in the flagship SUV of South Korea in the Palisade international markets. On Creta, we receive split LED backlights throughout the booth with a connected light bar. The back button looks also somewhat refractory. Overall, Alcazar’s rear end is more edgy than its five-seater brother.

Expected Setup, Powertrain Options
Recently, photos of the Alcazar cabin came online, giving us an idea of the future details of the SUV. We have also known that the first chair is available with two captain chairs in the middle row in both a six and a seven-seater configuration The SUV is expected to remain mechanically similar to its younger brother. Multiple engine options are expected to include a 1.5-liter, naturally aspired petrol, 1.5-liter diesel, and a 1.4-liter turbo-loaded petrol unit.
A manual for a 6-speed (petrol and diesel), automatic 6-speed (diesel), and automated seven-speed DCTs are to handle the transmission tasks (petrol). The world debut of Alcazar is expected to take place in April 2021 and launch in India later this year.
