What automaker do you believe has the greatest “Get your smartphone camera out” allure? Think. It must be extravagant. So, something with a lot of design flare that is Italian. A Ferrari, perhaps? Maybe. However, Lamborghini remains one of the most hyped-up and sought-after automakers ever. Something that will make your inner child come out.

The same thing applies in India. Any other supercar we have here pales in comparison to Lamborghinis in terms of attention-getting. In India, Lamborghini has introduced a new Huracan model. The Huracan Tecnica is a vehicle with a price tag of Rs. 4.04 crore. Let’s look at it.

Tecnica Lamborghini Huracan Is Lamborghini’s Huracan Tecnica the wildest model ever? Nah. The Aventador is here. Has there ever been a Huracan as wild as the Tecnica? No once more. The Huracan line of supercars is below the V12-powered Aventador range and is powered by a V10 engine also found in the Audi R8. Huracan Performante and Huracan STO must rank as the wildest Huracan models to date (Super Trofeo Omologata).

The Huracan Tecnica was introduced by Lamborghini India at a price of Rs 4.04 crore (ex-showroom, India), fitting it between the regular EVO and the track-oriented STO variant. The latter was introduced in our nation in July of last year for Rs 4.99 crore (ex-showroom, India).

  • Huracan Tecnica’s 5.2-liter NA V10 engine produces 640 horsepower
  •  Its design was inspired by the Sian hybrid hypercar.
  •  It is in opposition to the Porsche 911 GT3 RS.

Due to the discontinuation of Performante, the Huracan Tecnica is positioned below the Huracan STO and above the regular Evo and Evo Spyder (Convertible Hard Roof). In essence, it is a more potent rendition of the RWD Huracan Evo and a little less extreme than the Huracan STO. Although the Huracan line has been on the market for a while and is overdue for an upgrade, it still seems like we are getting new iterations of the same vehicle.

The weight-to-power ratio of the Huracan Tecnica is 2.15 kg/CV, which is only slightly less than STO’s 2.09 kg/CV. The Huracan Tecnica weighs 1,379 kg dry, which is less than the upcoming facelifted XUV300. Tecnica receives Lamborghini’s most recent “Ypsilon” design language, which features numerous Y-shaped design elements. The self-healing bodywork Terzo Millennio concept car is where this design aesthetic was first noticed. This style is also present in the Sian Hybrid Hypercar. Huracan Tecnica’s interior features suede upholstery, which is inappropriate for India. However, it lacks the fragments of carbon fiber that were discovered in the Performante. A digital cockpit for the driver and vertical touchscreen infotainment is also included in the interiors.

Huracan Tecnica by Lamborghini: design

The Huracan Tecnica, which will be globally unveiled in April 2022, borrows styling influences from the Sian hybrid hypercar. The front and rear fascia are painted in black and have angular Sian-inspired bodywork. The supercar also has a carbon fiber bonnet, a larger rear diffuser than the Huracan Evo in stock form, and a fixed rear spoiler that provides 35% more downforce. The Huracan Tecnica, on the other hand, forgoes the more extreme STO’s radical aerodynamics package, weight-saving measures, and clamshell bodywork.

Tecnica Lamborghini Huracan: performance and engine

The Huracan Tecnica has the same mechanical foundation as the STO: a 5.2-liter, naturally aspirated V10 engine with 640 horsepower mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission to drive the rear wheels. The Huracan Tecnica also comes standard with rear-wheel steering and carbon ceramic brakes from Lamborghini. In terms of overall performance, it can reach a high speed of 325 kph and accelerate from 0 to 100 kph in 3.2 seconds and from 100 to 200 kph in 9.1 seconds.
