Bolero Neo Mahindra – Pricing and variants
The Bolero Neo is available in N4, N8, N10, and N10 in four versions (O). Prices start at Rs 8.48 Lakh (former showroom) from base N4, although Mahindra has still not revealed the prices for top-spec variant N10(O). The prices of the first three variants are presented here.
Bolero Neo Mahindra – external style
A fresh look is on the new Mahindra Bolero Neo. The headlights were redesigned and the LED DRLs are placed much slimmer at the upper half. It is also provided with a reworked front bumper with new fog lights. Mahindra’s new six-layered grille design has also updated its face. The colon is blackout as soon as the color of the D column is now blackout.
The Bolero Neo also draws classic design signs from the Bolero Standard including a clam-shell bonnet, a squared-off wheel arch, and a thick plastic coating that runs along the SUV’s length. The Bolero New riders are finished in silver on new dual 5-speed alloy wheels while the TUV300 Roof Rails are misplaced. The new X-type, ‘Bolero’ branded and spoiler cover is provided in the back of the Bolero Neo.
Mahindra Bolero Neo – Inner and features
The inside of the Bolero Neo updates is not as exhaustive as the outside. Nevertheless, it still has a new instrument cluster with reworked dials and a new MID screen. Other interior upgrades include new beige textured fabric upholstery, a new tilt-adjustable wheel, and arm resting for second-row seats. As before, behind the second row the Bolero Neo takes a pair of jap seats, making it a compact SUV with seven seats.
Standard features such as a Bluetooth 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system, steering audio-built controls, cross-control, Eco-mode air conditioning, front-arm rests, drivers’ seat adjustable height, and electronically-adjustable ORVMs are provided by the Top-spec N10. ABS, EBD, and CBC, dual airbags, reversing parking sensors, and optional ISOFIX mounts are standard security features on the Bolero Neo’s computer.
Mahindra Bolero Neo – Options and supports for powertrains
The Bolero Neo stays mechanically unaltered by the TUV300. That means it is propelled to comply with BS6 emission standards by a 1.5-liter tri-cylinder diesel engine. This motor develops 100hp and 260Nm (up to 20Nm) torque and is connected to a manual 5-speed gearbox. The Bolero Neo is not offered an automatic gearbox option unlike the TUV300, which was also available in an AMT gearbox. That being said, the Bolero Neo transmits start-stop technology and TUV300’s Eco and ESS (micro-hybrid) drive modes to maximize fuel economy.
Bolero Neo is underpinned by a ladder chassis of the third generation, which also supports Thar and Scorpio and is the only compact SUV in its class. It is also a sluice drive, which distinguishes it further from other compact sluice systems.
Following feedback from customers whose TUV 300s have had difficulties tracing their narrow mountain roads when obliged to slush on their shoulders to prevent income traffic, Mahindra has even added a mechanical locking differential to the top-spec n10(O) trim of the Bolera Neo. Mechanical locking differential to better traction, which transmits power to the rear wheel, helps to improve driving on a loose surface.

Bolero Neo: Rivals and Positioning
Bolero is one of the most successful India’s largest selling SUVs ever. The Bolero Neo has much better chances of success, as the Bolero Moniker is a much stronger brand than the TUV300, which was somewhat confusing in the overcrowded line of Mahindra SUVs.
In its segment, the Bolero Neo has no direct competitors but competes with other Monocoque Compact SUVs at this price range. Both Bolero and Bolero Neo continue to be on sale and while their price difference may not be that significant, Mahindra feels that the two are both selling and expanding their client base “as read and reported by www.autocarindia.com”.
