How does it look outside?
The Tata Nexon Jet Edition line, which includes the ICE and EV models, stands out for its unique dual-tone paint treatment in the brand-new color of Starlight. The latter essentially mixes a platinum silver ceiling and an Earthy Bronze body color. One can even believe the roof is finished in a white tone depending on the lighting in the area or excessive brightness.
The Tata Nexon EV Jet Edition line is priced at a premium of Rs 20,000 based on the highest-specified XZ+ Lux variant. The special edition version receives a new exterior color called “Starlight” for the additional cost, which is effectively a two-tone Earthy Bronze body color with a contrasting Premium Silver roof.
The front and rear bumpers of the Tata Nexon and Nexon EV are decorated with silver skid plates to contrast the new paint job, Jet Black alloy wheels, and matte black text on the boot lid. Roof rails in Granite Black and belt lines on either side in Satin Granite Black are also available. Meanwhile, the size and design of the alloy wheels have been maintained from the corresponding standard models. On the front fender of each model is a badge that reads “#Jet,” but the Dark Chrome EV badge is only available on the EV model.
How does it feel inside?
A small interior change for the Tata Nexon and Nexon EV Jet Editions includes a dual-tone interior of Oyster White and Granite Black, a bronze finish for the dashboard, with the latter also applied to the door handles. Only the front row headrests have ‘#Jet’ embroidery; the other four seats are all covered in an Oyster White color with contrast bronze stitching.
The Nexon Jet Edition has wireless charging available on the center console, just in front of the armrest, for both the ICE and the EV versions. Other noteworthy features include an electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, and an air purifier with an AQI monitor.
What’s going on inside?
The Nexon EV Jet Edition line receives no mechanical improvements. This means that the electric motor, which produces 127 bhp and 245 nm of peak torque, continues to get power from the 30.2 kWh battery pack in the Nexon EV Prime Jet Edition. The potent Nexon EV Max, meanwhile, employs a larger 40.5kWh battery pack to generate 141 horsepower and 250 Nm of torque.
