After a teaser campaign and multiple spy shots later, Ford India introduced the New SE version of Ford EcoSport to India at a starting price of Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom). The EcoSport SE takes over the place of the Titanium as a variant just below the top-spec S. The petrol variant is priced at a premium of Rs 70,000 over Titanium, with the diesel variant receiving a premium of Rs 1 lakh. The SE undercuts the S by Rs 50,000, both in diesel and petrol iterations.

It retains the 1.5-liter petrol and diesel engines of the standard model under the hood. The former delivers 122PS of power, the latter pushing out 100PS of grunt. Both engines are standard paired with a 5-speed manual gearbox. Only Titanium + petrol has the option of a 6-speed automatic torque converter.
