Skoda Kodiaq interior highlights in India

by Navyatha Sandiri

Skoda Kodiaq interior facelift made its worldwide debut in 2021 and is ready to join the Indian market this year. Although the exterior highlights of this car are listed already, let us now take a look at the top four significant modifications in the cabin of this model flagship in the range of Skoda in India.

Skoda SUV flagship is offered in three different versions

Skoda’s SUV flagship is available in three different variants: Scout, Style, Laurent & Klement (L&K). The L&K variant applies in Rs 36.78 lakh, the ex-show room, while the Style variant is priced at Rs 32.99 lakh. Skoda awarded the Rs 33.99 lakh scout variant (ex-showroom).

New seats

The most important changes in materials and upholstery are the seat changes, which we hope will also be shown in the Indian model. These ergonomic seats are wrapped in leather, which is optional. Most interestingly, they now have a massage feature with heating and electrical adjustment. Certain variants of eco-seats made from recycled vegetable materials are also available worldwide, similar to the ones offered at Skoda on the Kushaq region.

Two-spoke steering wheel

The two-speed steering wheel that the Kodiaq now comes complete with is another noteworthy addition. We saw it with other Skoda models and the Czech car manufacturer is good to see this update in the SUV too.

Added features

The latest 9.2-inch touchscreen display is the focus of the new 10.25-inch digital device group, among many minor but impactful improvements. We hope that the India-spec model also features some new features such as wireless charge and connected car technologies, apart from the more advanced LED atmospheric lighting. A panorama sunroof, Virtual Cockpit, 360 degree camera, front parking sensor, Canton Sound System with a 10-speaker sound system as well as 3-field climate control is among the most significant features.

Updated music system

As always, Skoda has also taken note of the entertainment needs of its customers and equipped the Kodiaq with a new sound system from Canton with ten speakers including a subwoofer mounted on trunk.

Skoda Kodiaq Powertrain

The Kodiaq is powered by a TDi motor, which produces a torque of 150 hp and 340 Nm. A 7-speed dual-buckle transmission drives all four wheels (DSG).
