The Skoda Kushaq will be the direct competitor of Kia Seltos and Hyundai Crete.
The production-spec Kushaq, his first SUV made in India, was finally unveiled by Skoda. The official opening is still a couple of months away, but it unveiled Kushaq’s specifications and its features.

Transmission and engine:
The two petrol engines are available in both SUVs. The new Kushaq motor is 1.0L 3 cylinder turbo and 1.5 L 4 cylinder turbo motor, while the Kia Selto is available in a 1.5L four-cylinder and 1.4L four-cylinder Turbo motors. The Kushaq includes an automatic gearbox with 6 speeds and an automatic transmission gearbox with a torque converter, while Seltos has a 6-speed manual transmission gearbox and an automatic CVT gearbox.
Dimensional:
The Kia Seltos is not only taller but also larger and wider than the Kushaq with a brief look into the spec sheet. The latter has a longer wheelbase, the longest in the segment, with 2.651 mm. With a length of 4,221 mm, a width of 1,760 mm, and a height of 1,612, Kushaq’s extends across 4,315 mm, a width of 1,800mm and a height of 1.620mm.

Features:
In terms of overall features, both cars are decently equipped. It also has a 360-degree car parking camera, an 8-way powered driver, a 7-inch digital multi-channel screen, and even a Bose sound system. Seltos is the segment’s only car that has a heads-up display. Features like a fan, connected car tech, cruises, wireless charging, steering controls are standard on both SUV. Standard features are provided by both SUVs. The Kushaq has a 7-inch and 10-inch infotainment optional, and can both be paired with the Apple CarPlay and Android Auto systems.
