Tata Punch production-ready to be unveiled on 4 October

On 4 October 2021 Tata Motors will officially unveil Punch in India, which will be ready for Tata Punch production. At the dealer’s yard, the forthcoming micro SUV was found and prices are expected to be annexed soon. The vehicle is available in monotonous and double tone options.

  • The Punch will take advantage of features like its semi-digital instrument cluster, the control wheel and the Altroz touch-screen.
  • Additional features are Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Harman audio system, cruise control, and push/stop keyless.
  • Is supplied with a 5-speed manual and AMT options for an 86PS 1,2 litre petrol motor. Can also have a 1.2-litre turbo gasoline engine later.
  • To compete with Maruti Suzuki Ignis and the KUV100 NXT Mahindra.

Until now we have known that the cabin of Punch is identical to the HBX-concept presented at Auto Expo 2020, other than the different colors. The SUV also shares the Altroz hatchback with the infotainment system, a semi-digital instrument cluster, a gear lever, a flat-bound steering wheel, and climate control knobs.

The new micro-source is based on the ALFA design language Impact 2.0. The new micro-source. LED DRLs are visually placed on the bumper and the headlights like the eyebrows. In the lower half of the bomber, the fog lamps are placed. In order to enhance the SUV character, the vehicle is covered in black color. A black and black ORVM is available in contrast. As for the rear of the car, the Punch on the boot is finished in Chrome and the LED backlights have a distinctive three-arrow pattern. The vehicle also gets a high-mount stop light that increases its sportiness.

Other features include Harman, Android CarPlay and Android Auto, keyless input with a start/stop button, and cruise control. Other features are expected to work. Probably dual Airbags, EBD ABS, and camera rear parking sensors are part of the security kit.

The vehicle has a convenient and functional dashboard for its interior. A flat-bottom steering wheel will also be provided with a control and a semi-digital instrument cluster that is shared with Altroz. The Tata Punch is supplied with a stand-alone Harman-based infotainment system that is situated above central air vents.

The SUV is supplied by a naturally aspirated 1.2-liter 86PS and 113Nm petrol engine combined with a 5-speed manual and AMT options. Tata can also provide a 110PS 1.2-liter turbo gasoline engine and drive modes with the latest spy shot and teaser.

In October the Tata Punch will start at rates beginning at approximately Rs 5.50 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi). Maruti Suzuki Ignis and Mahindra KUV100 NXT will compete against them “as read and reported by www.cardekho.com”.
