Hyundai Creta
The Hyundai Creta’s wide price range of Rs. 10.24 lakh to Rs. 18.24 lakh, ex-showroom, which gives customers a choice of gasoline, turbo-petrol, and diesel engines as well as manual and automatic gearboxes, is one factor in its popularity.
Expect the performance of the Creta to be very similar to that of its cousin, the Kia Seltos, with which it shares its powertrains in both turbo and diesel models. The 1.5-liter petrol automatic, however, is a variant we haven’t yet examined, and we are doing so today to assess its performance.
Drive modes for the engine are Normal, Eco, and Sport.
A continuously variable gearbox is available for gasoline-powered vehicles (CVT)
In our tests, the Hyundai Creta 1.5 petrol with the CVT earned 10.3 kpl in the city and 13.78 kpl on the highway, which is somewhat better than the Kia Seltos 1.4 turbo-automatic (DCTcity )’s fuel efficiency of 8.5 kpl. On the interstate, though, the Kia did slightly better, returning 14.1 kpl. To give comparable numbers to the Seltos, anticipate the turbo-petrol Creta.
According to the most recent sighting, it might be a Creta variant with less advanced CNG technology. The Hyundai Alcazar and Venue have already been spotted testing with CNG equipment. Hyundai has already been spotted testing how well its cars work on CNG. For these vehicles, there aren’t any updates available at the moment.

Grand i10 Nios Hyundai
Prior to its full-fledged showing at the 2023 Auto Expo, Hyundai has made the Grand i10, Nios hatchback, and Aura sedan facelifted versions of its compact models available on its website and social media channels. On the corporate website or at any Hyundai dealer location in India, these automobiles may now be reserved online for Rs 11,000 each. The revised Grand i10, Nios, and Aura will be fully unveiled, along with their prices, during the 2023 Auto Expo.
The facelift has resulted in significant exterior design changes for both vehicles. The Hyundai Grand i10 Nios will be discussed first. New triangular daytime running LEDs, an aggressive, partitioned front grille, and air intakes on the front bumper are all present and correct on this hatchback. The Grand i10 Nios has undergone modifications, including new 15-inch alloy wheels, new LED tail lamps, and a connected LED light bar. There is a new paint color option named Spark Green in addition to the previously accessible colors of Polar White, Titan Grey, Typhoon Silver, Teal Blue, and Fiery Red. Two new dual-tone paint schemes are also available: Spark Green with a black roof and Polar White with a black roof.

Engine and Performance:
This Nios Turbo has a 1.0-liter, three-cylinder, direct injection gasoline engine as opposed to the 1.2-liter, four-cylinder, 81bhp engine on the original Nios. Similar to the BS6 engine we saw on the Venue, but tuned to generate 99 horsepower and 172 pound-feet of torque like in the Aura. It lacks the Smart Auto AMT but has a five-speed manual transmission instead (automatic). You’ll notice how quiet it is as soon as you turn the key to start the engine. The sophistication of this motor is rather impressive; at low rpm, it is hardly audible.
If you’ve driven a regular Nios, you’ll immediately notice the difference here. This variant has the pep that the conventional version lacks. This engine keeps revving freely up to its redline of 6,500 rpm, and power is delivered linearly to control the speed increase. It then tries to generate a lively engine note after 2,500 rpm and only becomes vocal after 4,000 rpm. It works well between 2,000 and 3,500 rpm, so this won’t happen very often. The turbo starts to spool up, and after 1,500 rpm, you can feel the engine pulling the car forward even with mild throttle inputs.
Hyundai Venue
The sub-compact SUV industry has had a wonderful year thanks to improvements for both major competitors. The Hyundai Venue received its first significant change since 2019, while the Maruti Brezza entered a new generation.
Hyundai has changed the front of this model to match the rest of its SUV lineup around the world. It has made a face appear wider while also giving it a polished appearance. The LED eyebrows on the front also receive a new look.
Hyundai has changed the look of the alloy wheels, which were formerly swirl-patterned, to a 16-inch multi-spoke star design that is exclusive to this top-spec SX (O) edition. The Venue’s new tail lamp, which is extremely conspicuous, has a new design. It spans the breadth of the boot lid and provides the Venue with a futuristic aspect when paired with a lot of black features all around.
Engine and Performance
Hyundai’s 1.0-liter turbo-petrol engine, which generates 118 bhp and 172 Nm and can be ordered with a seven-speed iMT, powers this particular model of the vehicle we tested. As the name implies, you get all the advantages of a manual transmission without having to exert the additional effort of the conventional three-pedal system. Even better, you receive the extra level of control that a manual transmission provides over an automatic manual transmission without the AMT’s lengthy shift times or distinguishing head nod.
