Toyota Fortuner Legend Spotted In India before Planned Launch in January

Toyota is expected to carry the facelifted Fortuner early next year. It seems like the facelifted model will be available in two broad trims: basic and more premium Legender, as seen in the Thai-spec model. In the run-up to its potential launch in January, Toyota Fortuner Legend Spotted experimenting during a TVC shooting.

The Toyota Fortuner Legender will earn many refreshing style updates. It has a brand new nose with a thinner mesh grille, more aggressive bumpers, a stronger intake of air, a revamped fog lamp box, bi-LED headlights, and a small skid plate. The front looks smoother and more sporty than the front lifting model.

The Legender is also having a new alloy wheel style. It also features a dual-tone paint pattern, sequential LED turn signals, a redesigned rear bumper, and black-out ORVMs. This version misses the chrome detailing and instead goes for the sportier shiny black treatment.

Within the cabin, an all-black theme with leather seats is planned. New features planned aboard include a 9-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, wireless charging, a 360-degree display, and a sweep-to-open controlled tailgate.

The legend is expected to have the upgraded 2.8-liter turbo diesel engine which now produces 204HP and 500Nm (27PS and up to 80Nm more than before). (27PS and up to 80Nm more than before). Expect Toyota Fortuner Legendary, which may be more pricey than the pre-lift ones, to claim a premium over the standard facelift versions.
