Almost one year after its debut, the German carmaker has now taken the elder sibling, Volkswagen Tiguan Allspace, off the wraps. While it first receives a styling update and added technology as well as a newly refurbished cabin after its global introduction in 2017, it retains the same powertrains.
Looks first and wears a new face with a reworked front grid and a new set of LED headlights. Looks first. What happens as an IQ option. The light package is a thin LED strip that is connected to both light clusters; it is a distinct addition confined to space. The bumpers were also reworked later. The large air intakes are bold and stylish, with chrome inserts on both sides.

Moving to the rear, a new graphic of the split tail lights recalls us somehow the Mk8 Golf. Also part of the update is the new design for the alloys. Volkswagen offers 19 and 20-inch SUVs. The Allspace is offered in three different trims – Life, Elegance, and R-Line in the outside world.
The cabin is now controlled by the new, eight-inch, all-digital instrument display with the light buttons and sliders, leather-wrapped multifunctional control wheel. In the new MIB3 generation, the infotainment system has been upgraded to a range of online services. In addition, a touch panel can operate the automatic climatic control now. The interior also has a wireless recharge pad, 15 color ambient lighting, a premium sound system and Apple CarPlay wireless connectivity, and Android Auto.

POWERTRAIN OPTIONS
The 2021 Volkswagen’s Tiguan AllSpace comes with the same TSI 2.0-liter engine, which can produce 188 bhp and 320 Nm, while standard-mounted with a 7-speed DSG automatic drive. The SUV also has a 4Motion AWD system available also in the pre-facelift model of the company. The AWD system is now also available. Tiguan AllSpace is a facing offer in India only for petroleum.
The optional IQ Drive package adds additional features like adaptive cruise control, lane assistance, road sign recognition, and parking assistance to drivers. With a 1.5-liter TSI, a 2,0-liter tsi, and a 2.0-liter tdi engine, the mechanics are still similar under a hood. Gearbox options include a manual with 6 speeds and transmission of DSG with 7 speeds.
As for India, in the coming months, Volkswagen will launch Allspace. It will only be introduced after its Taigun five-seat sibling.
