2022 New Lexus NX SUV India launch on March 9

On March 9, 2022, the second generation Lexus NX SUV will be released in India. It will remain the company’s most affordable offering in the Indian market, competing against the Mercedes-Benz GLC, BMW X3, Audi Q5, Land Rover Discovery Sport, and Volvo XC60.

Lexus, a Japanese luxury automaker, plans to launch the all-new NX 350h in India on March 9, 2022. It is expected to be available in three trim levels: Exquisite, Luxury, and F-Sport. Having said that, reservations for the brand-new NX are already available in the country.

The exterior and interior of the new car have been updated, as well as feature upgrades and improvements to improve the driving experience. Bookings for the 2022 Lexus NX 350h are now open, and it is available in three trim levels: Exquisite, Luxury, and F-Sport. When it is released, the car will compete with the Mercedes-Benz GLC, Audi Q5, BMW X3, Volvo XC60, and Land Rover Discovery Sport.

If the previous model was stylish, the new one is even more so, with a more distinct Lexus grille, new LED headlamps, and LED daytime running lights. The rear now has a full-width LED light bar that connects to the new LED taillamps. It has 20-inch alloy wheels.

The Lexus NX 350h’s cabin has undergone significant changes as it transitions to its second generation. A new dashboard and central console layout, as well as a new 14-inch infotainment display, semi-touch climate control, and seat ventilation switches, are available. The key here is driver orientation, which incorporates Lexus’ Tazuna concept with all controls and displays angled towards the driver. Behind the steering wheel is a new 7-inch instrument panel. The base variant will have a smaller display measuring 9.8 inches. There’s a panoramic sunroof, a Mark Levinson Premium audio system, new steering and a head-up display, and a slew of other upgrades.

Given that Lexus will bring the NX 350h powertrain to India, and the ‘h’ in the 350h stands for a hybrid. Nonetheless, the SUV is expected to be powered by a 2.5-liter, four-cylinder, naturally aspirated petrol hybrid engine mated to an eCVT automatic transmission. Meanwhile, in international markets, the manufacturer offers a variety of NX variants, including a PHEV.
