The Mercedes-Maybach GLS600 is Mercedes-first-class Benz’s luxury SUV product.
The Maybach 600 4MATIC Mercedes GLS will be launched on June 8 in India. The German carmaker announced the release date of the SUV of ultra-luxury, one of the fifteen launches planned this year for India by Mercedes-Benz.
The GLS Maybach will make its Indian debut next week, Mercedes had confirmed earlier.
The Maybach GLS 600 4Matic has a large Maybach-styled chrome grille with sleek LED headlamps on either end. The grille is also embellished with finely curved trim strips on both ends. The bumper is finished in high-gloss black paint with a chrome underguard. The sculpted lines on the bonnet resemble those on the regular GLS. The SUV’s windows have chrome surrounds on the sides. The B-pillar is adorned with chrome inserts, while the D-pillar is emblazoned with the brand logo. The back end features sporty LED tail lamps.

A SUV with a choice of 4 or 5 seat cabins, the Mercedes GLS Maybach 600 is one of German car makers’ most luxurious cabins. It has a 12.3-inch main infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver display, an ambient lights and a panorama sunroof in Burmester. Mercedes has added a climbing massage, a folding table and even a resident refrigerator to make your life more comfortable.
The 4.0-litre V8 petrol engine with a 48-volt onboard electrical system and integrated starter-alternator will power the upcoming Mercedes-Maybach GLS 600 4Matic. The engine will produce a maximum power of 550bhp and a peak torque of 730 Nm when coupled to a 9G-TRONIC automatic transmission. The EQ boost will provide an additional 21 bhp and 250 Nm torque.
SUV cabine with choice of either four or five-seater configurations is offered in the Mercedes GLS Maybach 600, and one of the most luxurious car manufacturing units in Germany. It comes with a 12.3-inch MBUX major infotainment system, a 12.3-inch driver, surround sound system in Burmaster, ambient lights with a panoramic sunroof. Mercedes has added air conditioned massage chairs, folding tables and even a refrigerator to make the occupants even more comfortable.

The rear seat has 120mm more legroom than the Mercedes-Benz GLS and can be pushed. The backrest can also be tilted up to 43.5 degrees, allowing for comfortable seating even on long journeys.
