Kia Motors India has announced the pricing of its mind of its mid SUV with introductory prices starting at Rs. 9.69 lakh (ex-showroom, India). All new compact SUV has been launched at a disruptive pricing that undercuts the entire competition. The Seltos is the South Korean carmaker first product in India and was first showcased as the SP Concept at the 2018 Auto Expo and for the base naturally aspirated petrol, going up to Rs 15.99 lakh in ex-showroom, for the top-end turbo petrol. Now with the price revision, the SUV has become expensive by 20,000 to 35, 000 depending on the variant and colour option. Earlier the company had also said that even those customers who have booked the Kia Seltos before December 31 but are scheduled for delivery this year will have to pay the additional premium.
Kia motors has started the mass production of Seltos at its manufacturing facility in Anantapur, Andhra Pradesh, which will cater to both domestic and export demands.

The car is powered by two petrol and one diesel engine options, which are part of the third generation Smart stream family of engines, all of which are BS6 compliant and the Power on the Seltos which comes from the 1.4-litre GDI turbo petrol which develops 138 bhp and 242 Nm of peak torque, and is paired with a 6-speed manual and 7-speed DCT automatic transmission and moreover which also available in 1.5-litre naturally aspirated petrol that belts out 113 bhp and 144 Nm of peak torque, and is paired with the speed of 6-speed manual and an IVT (Intelligent continuously variable transmission) with an automatic transmission. This Seltos which is also available in the 1.5-litre VGT diesel produces 113 bhp and 250 Nm of torque, and is paired with a 6-speed manual and a 6-speed torque converter with automatic gearbox.
The compact SUV looks sporty on outside with features like tiger-nose front grille, LED headlamps, LED DRLs, LED fog lamps, LED taillights and dual exhaust pipes. The spacious cabin of Seltos come with 10.25-inch touchscreen AVN system with an 8-speaker Bose sound system, three-spoke multifunction steering wheel, 8-inch HUD (Heads Up Display), blind-spot view monitor, cruise control, push-button start/stop and eco coating. The Kia Seltos is going to offer in two key trims .
The other is Tech Line and GT Line, each of them which are offered in five variants like E, K, K+, X and X+ and this Tech Line brings more plush and the premium appearance with a beige and black cabin with leather upholstery.
