Mahindra has increased Scorpio N’s price by up to Rs 1 lakh. All of the versions’ prices have increased; the base petrol Scorpio N now costs Rs. 12.74 lakhs, while the top-end diesel automatic with 4WD costs Rs. 24.05 lakhs. With initial prices beginning at Rs 11.99 lakh, the Scorpio N was introduced in June last year.
Scorpio N Z8L automatic variants have the smallest price increases in Scorpio N, with the majority of variants having a two-year waiting period.

Furthermore, the price of the Z4 petrol trims has risen by Rs. 75,000. The price increase for the Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 manual and automatic petrol trims is Rs. 65,000, while the price increases for the Z8L MT and Z8L AT are Rs. 55,000 and Rs. 15,000, respectively. The pricing of the Z2 and Z4 models has increased by Rs. 75,000 for the diesel grades.
The base Z2 MT 7-seater Mahindra Scorpio N petrol model is now available for Rs 12.74 lakh. The price has increased by 6.26 percent, or Rs. 75,000, from the initial Rs. 11.99 lahks.
The Z2 MT E, Z4 MT, and Z4 MT E trims have also seen a price rise of Rs 75,000, while the Z8 MT and AT trims have seen a price increase of Rs 65,000. Mahindra Scorpio N Z8 L 6/7 seater variant prices have gone up by Rs. 55,000, while Z8 L AT 6/7 seater prices have gone up by Rs. 15,000, with a maximum rise of Rs. 21.30 lakhs.
Mahindra Scorpio N Diesel Costs – January 2023
Prices for Mahindra Scorpio N Diesel trims currently range from Rs 13.24 lakh to Rs 24.05 lakh. From an earlier price of Rs 12.49 lakh, the base Z2 MT 7 seater has increased by 6%, or Rs 75,000, to Rs 13.24 lakh. Z2 MT E, Z4 MT, Z4 AZT, and Z4 MT AWD 7-seater trims have all had price increases of Rs 75,000.
Mahindra Scorpio N Z6 MT and AT, Z8 MT, and AT 7-seater prices have also risen by Rs 65,000, with the Z8 MT AWD 7-seater seeing the greatest increase. Instead of costing Rs 19.94 lakh as before, it now costs Rs 20.95 lakh, an increase of Rs 1,01,000 in price. The top-tier Scorpio N diesel Z8 L AT AWD model has now priced at Rs 24.05 lakh, up Rs 15,000 from its previous asking price of Rs 23.90 lakh.
A six-speed manual or torque converter automatic transmission with six speeds connects both powertrains. The Scorpio N receives evolutionary aesthetic updates over the previous model, while the inside is more contemporary and equipped with cutting-edge technology. It is supported by a new ladder frame design that is lighter and has greater stiffness and rigidity.

The engine lineup for the Mahindra Scorpio N
The engines used in the Thar and XUV700 are also used in the Mahindra Scorpio N. There are two tuning options for the 2.2-liter diesel engine, and the 2.0-liter turbo petrol engine produces 370 Nm and 380 Nm of torque in MT and AT, respectively. In a manual transmission, the higher gear produces 175 horsepower and 370 Newton meters, while an automatic transmission produces 400 Newton meters. 132 horsepower and 300 Nm of torque are produced by the lower tune. A six-speed manual gearbox and a six-speed automatic transmission are available as options.
The Mahindra Scorpio N has a number of standout features, including 18-inch alloy wheels, sequential LED turn indicators, black leather seating, an 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity, in-car connected features, AdrenoX with built-in Amazon Alexa, and much more.
Since its inception, Mahindra has prioritized supplying the Scorpio-higher-end N variants and has only recently begun doing so for the mid-level variants. All other versions now have a waiting period of up to 25 months, depending on the area, with the exception of the top-spec Z8L model, which has a waiting period of about four months.
Mahindra is raising prices in an effort to boost sales and keep a profit. This move is most likely a reaction to the competition and rising costs the company is facing in the Indian automobile sector. Mahindra is searching for methods to increase its bottom line since the company’s stock has been under pressure recently.
